RESEARCH GROUP

Dr Federico Balducci is the Team Leader of the Modelling Center for Quantum Technologies, a research group dedicated to the development of advanced methods for the description and engineering of open quantum many-body systems. Together with the ERA Chair Holder, he leads WP7 and WP8.

Dr Alex Ferrier is responsible for the development of positive P and truncated Wigner methods for spin lattices, adjusting codes for broader use, preparing tutorials for software to solve many-body quantum problems, and for project-related dissemination activities related to numerical methods.

MSc Dawid Hryniuk is responsible for the development of quantum Monte Carlo and tensor network methods, adjusting codes for broader use, preparing tutorials for software to solve many-body quantum problems, and for project-related dissemination activities related to numerical methods.

Dr Zejian Li is responsible for the development of variational multi-configurational methods for boson and spin lattices, adjusting codes for broader use, preparing tutorials for software to solve many-body quantum problems, and for project-related dissemination activities related to numerical methods.
